9mm compact magazine

Postby th3ug1y0n3 » Tue Aug 09, 2011 11:12 pm

This may have already been covered somewhere but I have not found anything yet. I am wanting to convert all of my magazine to 13 round capacity for my compact 9mm and wondering if anyone knows where I could go for the correct parts to do so. I have found a couple of sites where i can order the followers and spring like eaa corp and other sites for wolf products but i want to make sure that what i order is for the 13 round specs. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Is the sping the factor in the amount of capacity of the magazine. If so what is the capacity for the wolff 5% springs?

The Wolff springs should not change the capacity, they will only make it a little harder to load the mags and will reduce ftf odds. If your mags do not have a limiter in them, then they are probably holding as many as possible. I have 2 ten round 9mm mags that have a plastic base that comprises about an inch or so of the bottom of the mag. No way to increase capacity without welding on an extension.
