www.canik-usa.com

Canik is a turkish brand. They make steel alloy firearms and at a bit slimmer. That is the main added feature of this make.

This is my chrome Canik55 Shark in 9mm with Hogue grips. I put 400 rounds through it, with no malfunctions. After 1000 rounds I will triggertune it and maybe put some LPA sights on it 8-)

Courage is not a lack of fear, but one's ability to overcome it.

I recently bought a Canik55 T-100 imported to the US by Tristar. It looks, feels and shoots sweet. The only downside is the plastic grips, they are really really plastic and detract from the quality exhibited elsewhere on the pistol. I noticed the grips with finger indents above and wondered if these are Hogue rubber for the Cz compact or what something else. That would be good because the rubber is supposed to be even thinner near the top. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the canik shark or tristar t-120 part compatible with the Jericho 941? Can the slide or barrel fit a regular Jericho frame?

In my comment above I was whining about the plastic grips on the T-100. They work, but are rather like a hasp and feel like plastic...so EBay to the rescue with a set of wood grips from Thailand sized for the CZ75 Compact. I knew in advance they were the right shape by overlaying the stock grips on the photo of the wood grips and resizing on my iPad. I had heard the screw holes need elongation on both sides...true...easy and doesn't show. Price was very reasonable, happy with fit and feel. The resizing feature should help others in finding grips etc.
