Is my 941 a FL, RL, FS, RBL or what?!

IWI's famous pistol. Has been imported to the US by Charles Daly/KBI, Magnum Research, and Mossberg under various names.

Is my 941 a FL, RL, FS, RBL or what?!

You will see these designations often when ordering accessories items for your 941 and you may not know which applies to your particular gun. This should make it easier:

Polymer Frame (FL/RL) Full Size 9mm, 40S&W
Polymer Frame (FSL/RSL) Semi-Compact (aka: mid-size) 9mm, 40S&W
Polymer Frame (FBL/RBL) Compact 9mm, 40S&W
Steel Frame (F/R) Full Size 9mm, 40 S&W
Steel Frame (FS/RS) Semi-Compact 9mm, 40 S&W, .45 ACP
Steel Frame (FB/RB) Compact 9mm, 40 S&W
Steel Frame with accessory rail (F/R) Full Size 9mm, 40 S&W
Steel Frame with accessory rail (FS/RS) Semi-Compact 9mm, 40 S&W .45 ACP
Steel Frame with accessory rail (FB/RB) Compact 9mm, 40 S&W
Jericho 941 mid-size 9mm poly with: DPM recoil reduction unit, Armalaser SR-2, Meprolilght ML 19593 night sights

Thanks, Kraigster! I know I spent the first few months looking over the paperwork and the pistol only to be confused by what appeared to be conflicting information/markings! Why did they make it so confusing? :?

Just to add confusion, I have a Jericho 941 PL
It's a polymer 9mm, with railings, and has a Frame mounted safety. No Decocker.

majsu,

according to my owners manual i have a jericho R but according to listings the R is only for 9mm and 40S&W full size...maybe our guns slipped through the cracks or KBI did something of thier own to make these pistols

Strangely, the IWI claims that RS and RB have the same barrel length (90mm = 3.5in).

However, Charles Daly JGR2014 9mm has a 3.8in barrel (presumably an RS?), and Magnum Research BE9900RS has a 3.93in barrel. Really confusing!!!
